Old Fashioned

A timeless, no-nonsense classic — just whiskey, sugar, and bitters. Good choice to feature as your “premium pick” recipe.

Ingredients

• 60ml Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve Blended Scoth Whisky
• 1 sugar cube (or 1 tsp sugar)
• 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters (if available)
• A splash of water
• Ice
• Orange peel, to garnish

Method

1. Place the sugar cube in a rocks glass and add the bitters and a splash of water.
2. Muddle until the sugar dissolves.
3. Add a large ice cube and pour in the whisky.
4. Stir well for about 20 seconds.
5. Express an orange peel over the drink and drop it in as garnish
